AGC-100 (Automatic Guide Roller Cleaning Device):
As cleaning of guide rollers entail working at high places, it is often dangerous, dirty and involves a lot of labor. The danger lies in the limited accessibility of some guide rollers and their positions in the upper super-structure. At the end of a press run, while the web is still moving, the AGC-100 puts a cleaning solution on the web. The cleaner is transferred to each guide roller it contacts, dissolving accumulated ink and paper dust on the roller surface. The guide rollers are intermittently stopped and the still-moving web removes the guide roller dirt by friction.

  • Air-operated disk brakes are used for the compactly designed device to intermittently stop the guide rollers.
  • Automatic guide roller cleaners can easily be installed on existing presses.
  • This system can be installed in confined spaces and is easy to maintain.
  • The cleaning solution applicator and guide roller braking device can be freely added, therefore, the system can be gradually built up.
  • The moving web (approx. 15m) is used for cleaning the guide rollers, and as there is no need for special equipment , it is an economical system with low operating costs.
  • The system can be operated by a simple push button in accordance with the pre-registered web path pattern.
  • The system can be used by receiving the printing pattern number from the T-NPC, however, it can also be used as an offline system.
